Man Charged With Murder in Disappearance of Missing Utah Teenager

Suspect Appeared in Court with Bloodstains on Clothing, Gun
BOX ELDER COUNTY, Utah (March 3, 2023) - The Box Elder County Sheriff's Office has announced the arrest and charging of a suspect in connection with the disappearance and murder of 19-year-old Dylan Rounds.
Rounds was reported missing in May 2022 after he vanished while living in an RV-camper near the Nevada-Utah border. An investigation by the sheriff's office and the Utah Department of Public Safety led to the identification of a suspect.
The suspect, whose name has not been released, appeared in court this week where he was charged with murder. According to court documents, video surveillance footage shows the suspect with bloodstains on his clothing as he was cleaning a gun following Rounds' disappearance.
Authorities in Box Elder County and Idaho Falls are working together to recover Rounds' remains. The search is ongoing, and no further information is available at this time.
