Kabosu's owner, Atsuko Sato, announced the news on Instagram, expressing her deep sadness at losing her loyal companion. "Kabosu lived a long and happy life, and she was loved by many people," Sato wrote. "She will always be remembered as the inspiration behind the Doge meme and the Dogecoin cryptocurrency."
