The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has released its latest official rankings, revealing the current champions and top contenders in each weight division. In a major shake-up, Islam Makhachev has ascended to the top of the pound-for-pound rankings, solidifying his status as the most dominant fighter in the sport today.
Makhachev, the newly crowned UFC lightweight champion, has maintained an unblemished record inside the Octagon, winning 23 consecutive fights. His impressive grappling skills and relentless pressure have proven too much for his opponents to handle, including former champion Charles Oliveira, whom Makhachev defeated in October 2022.
