The beloved Colombian telenovela "Yo Soy Betty, la Fea" is getting a sequel! "Betty, la Fea: La Historia Continúa" will premiere on Amazon Prime, bringing back the iconic characters played by Ana María Orozco and Jorge Enrique Abello.
The original series, which aired from 1999 to 2001, was a global phenomenon, captivating audiences with its heartwarming story of Betty, a plain-looking but intelligent secretary who falls in love with her handsome and wealthy boss, Armando.
The sequel will pick up 20 years after the events of the original series and follow Betty and Armando as they navigate the challenges of adulthood, marriage, and parenthood. Fans can expect a mix of romance, drama, and plenty of humor.
Ana María Orozco and Jorge Enrique Abello have expressed their excitement about returning to their iconic roles.
