Braves' Ozuna, Sale Lead Team to Victory

Laureano Homers Again

The Atlanta Braves defeated the Houston Astros 5-2 on Saturday to take a 2-1 lead in the World Series. Marcell Ozuna and Chris Sale led the way for the Braves, with Ozuna hitting a two-run homer in the first inning and Sale pitching six strong innings.

Ramón Laureano also homered for the Braves, his second in as many games. The homer gave the Braves a 3-0 lead in the second inning.

Sale Pitches Gem

Sale allowed just two runs on five hits and two walks in his six innings of work. He struck out eight batters, including the side in the sixth inning.

The win was Sale's first in the World Series. He had lost his previous two starts in the Fall Classic.

Ozuna Continues to Swing Hot Bat

Ozuna's homer was his third of the World Series. He is now hitting .353 with four RBIs in the Fall Classic.

Ozuna has been a key part of the Braves' success this season. He hit .329 with 46 homers and 106 RBIs during the regular season.

Braves One Win Away from Title

The Braves are now one win away from their first World Series title since 1995. They will have a chance to clinch the championship on Sunday night in Game 4.

The Astros will need to win Game 4 to force a Game 5. They will send Lance McCullers Jr. to the mound on Sunday night.
